We are looking for a positive, flexible, and reliable Full-Time Assistant District Manager with excellent interpersonal skills to support the operations of our company retail locations throughout Northern Alberta/SK/MB.

If you are passionate about management and would like to give your contribution in creating a great company culture, this is the right position for you, your job will be to provide support to the District Manager, 40+ employees in 10+ locations. In this position, your primary duty will be to ensure all employees adhere to company policies and procedures while maximizing our sales and profitability. You are also responsible for developing the stores to be successful and grow through clearly defined goals and constructive feedback.

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Train, coach, and guide employees to achieve excellence in all areas and achieve business and store objectives and goals
  • Ensure sales and customer service are above par and consistent across locations
  • Develop and maintain operational best practices while complying to all company rules and regulations.
  • Assist in maintaining the highest levels of visual presentation consistent with the company’s brand
  • Develop superior sales floor, customer service, and sales generation
  • Monitor business trends across stores within the district and implement plan to meet and exceed goals
  • Maintain a positive work environment for all employees
  • Ensure protection of company property by managing loss prevention within the district
  • Provide support to the District Manager in their duties and responsibilities
  • Participate in sales and management training meetings and events
  • Perform other duties as required

Requirements

  • Exceptional communication and presentation skills with a positive and can-do attitude
  • Build strong relationships with both employees and clients
  • Must be flexible and have open availability Ability to work in a fast-paced environment - individually and as part of a team
  • Strong problem identification and conflict management skills with a proven record in overcoming objections
  • Minimum 5 years of Retail Industry experience
  • Minimum 3 years of Management experience
  • Must possess a valid driver’s license and vehicle to travel throughout Alberta to different locations
  • Must be located in Alberta
  • A valid passport is required- frequent travel, which may include travel outside of Canada
