Only Available To Licensed Canadian Beauty Professionals

Grey Free, the original touch-up, was developed in 1941 by James T. Giuliano. Grey Free offers 100% gray coverage and can be used for re-growth, mustaches, beards, eyebrows, eyelashes, or lowlights. This truly innovative product was originally invented for actors and actresses for the “Big Screen” and was used by such famous make up artists as Ern Westmore. In the 1960’s the original touch-up was first brought to market targeting barber and beauty supplies. Grey Free was only available in brown, dark brown or black and was mostly geared towards men. Grey Free was also available as the first permanent powder hair color that was mixed with water and peroxide free. The old packaging was black and even had a pen clip on it. A brighter packaging was to follow in the late 70’s. Grey Free would eventually take a back seat to James Giuliano’s most innovative invention of UV GELS for fingernail enhancements.
Grey Free was brought back to market in 2001 by James’ grandson, David Giuliano. David has since made the product available in 9 different shades from light blonde to black. Greyfree’s formulation has been improved year after year to insure the highest quality colour available in the professional market. We are constantly working on developing cutting edge products and tools such as Colorme for the salon professional and their clients.
