This 3/8" nickel plated, series 7C, dual check valve backflow preventer prevents the reverse flow of polluted water from entering into the drinking water supply at the service entrance or at individual outlets. It consists of a chrome-plated brass body construction, with two independently operating check valves and stainless steel springs. The valve is designed for non-health hazard residential water system containment, continuous pressure applications, such as wash-down sinks with a hose-type device.
